Stanton B and B

Fall in Mulmur

Welcome to Stanton Bed and Breakfast, nestled in the rolling Hills of Headwaters, the spectacular tourist area between Caledon and Collingwood – and just an hour and a bit away from Toronto. This region is tailor made for those looking for outdoor beauty and activities – walking, hiking, skiing, riding, swimming –  or just relaxing and enjoying the best of the Ontario countryside. We are 20 minutes north of Orangeville, 20 minutes west of Alliston and 10 minutes east of Shelburne, situated next to a quiet ravine and have lovely vistas. Stanton B and B is an extraordinary country getaway that offers peace and relaxation. We invite guests to sit by the pool or jump in after a hike or ride.

There are fantastic activities winter, spring, summer or fall!

Festivals

We are central to anything that interests you and there are lots of things to do nearby. The Blues and Jazz Festival in Orangeville, home of the prettiest main street in Ontario, will cater to music enthusiasts, and Ribfest will tickle your taste buds. The Alliston Potato Festival appeals to the whole family with many varied activities as does the Shelburne Heritage Music Festival.

Farmers’ Markets and Local Food

Add to that the numerous local farmers markets and there is something to do every weekend.  Creemore has a Saturday farm market, Creemore Springs Brewery and lovely shops and cafes.  Orangeville also has a Saturday market located on its main street with many shops and restaurants to choose from. The Shelburne Farmers’ Market is on Thursdays and Mulmur Farmers’ Market is on Sundays at the Dufferin County Museum & Archives. All activities are located in our beautiful region via country drives and near to other shops and businesses.

Or… you may just want to go where the side roads take you for a meandering country drive. A quiet picnic looking out over the vistas, some fishing in nearby rivers, or a walk down country roads to see the fall colours and listen to the wind in the trees.

Come and see what is so special about this part of the country and why they say it’s Better in Mulmur!
We look forward to having you visit,
Shirley and Tom
